It is difficult to capture the impact our homes have on the families who call them home. The below information truly only scratches the surface.

  • There are two Fisher Houses located at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC)
  • The houses are owned by the Department of the Army
  • The only Fisher Houses outside of the United States for US Service members and their families
  • The houses are also open to our NATO and Coalition partners
  • Receives Non-Appropriated funds which covers staff salaries, basic maintenance and utilities
  • Depends heavily upon monetary and material donations by the community

    • 20,637 families served since 2001
    • 2,868 families of service members injured in Iraq and Afghanistan
    • 168 Coalition families from 27 countries have called us “home” since 2009
    • 5 days is the average length of stay
    • 84% average occupancy rate
    • 133 average number of families per month
    • 29,951 volunteers have donated their time to us since 2001
    • 91,804 volunteer hours have been graciously donated to the betterment of our houses since 2001
